I'm a PhD researcher of Computer Science department at Virginia Tech. Prior to that, I worked as a network planning engineer for major mobile operators (almost eight years) in my home country Bangladesh. I have a fairly good understanding of mobile network architecture and broad experience in LTE network designing, coverage planning, and optimization. In addition, I know the statistical concept and machine learning, as well as efficient handling of data with python. My research interests are mobile network systems, information and communication technologies for development (ICT4D), and HCI. I love meeting new people and exchanging ideas/thoughts related to changes in the human lifestyle with technological advancements in different corners of the world.

A leap in my career from a Mobile Network Planner to Network System Researcher. In Fall'22 (Aug'22), I Joined Virginia Tech as a PhD student. Currently, I'm working in SPIN (System, People, Infrastructure, Networks) Lab with Prof. Dr. Shaddi Hasan.
My fantastic journey with Robi Axiata Limited had come to an end on Aug'22. It's an invaluable eight years of experience to work closely with Cellular Network Architecture for the two major MNOs (Robi and Banglalink) in Bangladesh, which will help me to start something more extensive for this industry. I sincerely thank my colleagues, line managers and mentors for their professional trust and unconditional support throughout my career.
I completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) in 2013 from the American International University of Bangladesh (AIUB). Later, in June’2020, I started my Master of Science (M.Sc) in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Brac University, Bangladesh. I completed the coursework of my M.Sc. with the highest distinction. Both universities helped me to shape my knowledge and research skills for my future career.
